Maxfli Noodle Ice Golf Balls The Maxfli Noodle has a special place in my heart. I used to work in the headquarters for a restaurant called Noodles & Company. (It's a global noodle concept… Great food, too. Tell them Robert sent you and you'll receive a free Mac and Cheese. KIDDING!) When these Noodle balls came out several years ago, my coworkers and I used to play them frequently.

They're not a bad ball either. Of course, they are a distance ball. The Noodle is a two-piece ball with a very low spin. The cover is made of hard surlyn and it has 408 dimples. This particular model is transparent and looks like ice. (Reminds me of the Volvik Control Crystal SkyBlue ball.)

This is an economical ball designed for high handicappers. You will have fun whacking them around the golf course. And if you find some good deals, you get quite a few balls for very little money.

If you'd like to try a better quality ball, I can recommend a few that will have a better feel. For a low cost distance ball that has a little feel and play, check out the Callaway HX Blue. It's a good ball for the money that spins and has a decent feel.

Furthermore, if you want to take a look at a quality golf ball, please read my review on the Titleist Pro V1x. This is my top pick for any golf ball. It's a ball that goes very far off the tee, but has a very soft feel from the fairway and around the greens.

As for the Noodle, I still smack ‘em around sometime for old times' sake, and then I go eat some noodles.
