This Adams Idea Pro Black Hybrid is an interesting looking fellow. At first glance, it's obvious that Adams is trying to appeal to the better player who isn't quite ready to jump headfirst into a hybrid. It's a black hybrid that looks like an iron.
The club head is designed with a short blade length and is shorter from back to front with less bulge and roll. This will give better players more control of the club for shot-shaping as opposed to the newer, bulkier hybrids.
This hybrid has a weight plug to lower the center of gravity. This plug can be customized at the factory.
I would recommend this hybrid for better players and advise the higher handicappers to stay away. I think the lower handicappers may appreciate how easy it is to work the ball with a fast swing speed. Of course having said that, you guys with those fast swing speeds won't see a huge advantage over this compared to your favorite 3 iron.
I'd advise you dive into a hybrid headfirst. I recommend the Mizuno MP CLK Hybrid or Titleist 909 H Hybrid for the better players and the Cobra Baffler Rail H Hybrid for the high handicappers.
