This is a beautiful player's hybrid. Its stainless steel head is small and simple made with a Carpenter-steel insert. This insert is designed to increase ball speed. The center of gravity is offset and progressive to match the head size of each loft. The hybrid comes in 5 lofts: 15, 17, 19, 21, and 24.
Better golfers will really like the toned-down looks. At address, it looks beautiful, and the ball jumps off the hot face at impact. I would really like to put this hybrid in my bag because of how easy it is to work the ball.
I would recommend this hybrid for the lower handicappers who prefer more workability. However, having said that, a mid to high handicapper would still appreciate how hot the face is and how far the ball flies, but it's certainly not as forgiving as some of the more game-improving hybrids out there.
For a club designed more for forgiveness, I like the Cobra Baffler Rail. This hybrid has a dual-rail sole designed to get through the rough easier and pick the ball out of any lie.
