This is Bridgestone's E5 golf ball. It is designed for you golfers looking for a higher ball flight. Let's take a closer look.
The E5 is a two-piece golf ball consisting of a soft urethane cover and an energy core. The cover is completely seamless which allows for the maximum dimple coverage, and the core is designed for maximum compression from a variety of swing speeds.
This ball is a very long and soft. It is comparable to the Pro V1X. The ball jumps of your driver face and flies very high with not a lot of spin. However, on the short irons shots and around the greens, the ball has a great feel and a lot of bite.
For more spin and a softer feel, I recommend the Bridgestone E5+. This is almost the same ball, but it spins a lot more on short shots and around the green. It's also not quite as long off the tee as the E5, so keep this in mind -- you are giving up some distance for feel here.
