FootJoy SYNR-G Men's Golf Shoes These cool FootJoy SYNR-G golf shoes were designed for golfers looking for stability and motion control. The three main features at work here are the FootJoy's Tri-lateral Stability Frame, Alloy Stability Bridge, and Stinger Cleats.

The Tri-Lateral Stability Frame is built with TPU (thermoplastic urethane) and EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) to supply motion control and stability. An Alloy Stability Bridge is strategically placed in the shoe to help reduce twisting and increase the stability of the platform. Finally the Stinger cleats will give you the grip of a mountain lion. These spikes are different then your typical golf spikes in that they have spring-flex traction with are extra gentle on the greens.

I especially like Footjoy shoes because they are so darn soft. The main reason is because this shoe has Footjoy's "ECL Leather System by Pittards." This is a proprietary waterproofing system constructed with Pittards of England. ECL stands for "Extreme Comfort Leather" and it is 30% softer than previous Footjoy models. What's more is it has a 2-year waterproof warranty.

The one drawback to this shoe is the durability. Where FootJoy reigns supreme in comfort, they can wear down quicker than other shoes. One place I've seen this is in the toe of the shoe of my back foot. Like most golfers I will drag my toe on the downswing. After a lot of use, the toe starts to separate from the sole. If this is a concern for you, check out Adidas Golf Fitrx Golf Shoes. They have Adidas' AdiTuff technology on the toe. This is an abrasion-resistant material that protects the toe from wear.
