Get over yourself, Paul Bunyan -- even the strong young bucks are pushing around their clubs now. Look, Tiger Woods has muscles where I don't even have bones, and you don't see him carrying anything around on his back.

This Sun Mountain Micro 4-Wheel Push Cart is one of the nicer ones I've seen. The three-wheeled carts, like the Sun Mountain Speed Cart V1, seem to be more trendy then the four-wheelers. However, this four-wheeler can hold its own.

The Micro folds up in two moves and is just as compact as most of the three-wheel carts. Plus it's more stable and tracks better on the golf course.

The best thing about this four-wheel Micro is I don't have to strap my clubs in it. You just drop your bag in it, and two arms hold them secure. In addition, it has an umbrella holder that holds your umbrella over you and your clubs.

A great compliment to this push cart is the Sun Mountain 2010 MCB Cart Bag. Among other "neato" qualities, the bag has an insulated cooler pouch.

Sun Mountain Micro Cart Golf Bag | Push & Electric Cart Compatible MCB http://www.zipgolfer.com/sun-mountain-micro-cart-golf-bag-push-electric-cart-compatible-mcb/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/sun-mountain-micro-cart-golf-bag-push-electric-cart-compatible-mcb/#comments Sat, 22 May 2010 11:57:55 +0000 Robert http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=2711 Sun Mountain Micro Cart Golf Bag This is a luxurious golf bag. This bag is so decked out it could double for your suitcase on your next vacation. Oh, and throw in a few cold beverages because it has an insulated cooler pouch. But I'm getting ahead of myself. I like to save the best for last.

The big ol' beautiful bag was built specifically to go on the Sun Mountain's four-wheeled Micro Cart, but don't worry -- it will fit wonderfully in most push carts and all electric carts.

The bag is loaded with pouches. It has two full-length clothing pockets. (You might as well pack a change of clothes for the turn.) It has two velour-lined pockets for your valuables (I'm going to need to get some more valuables) and a ball pocket with a two-way zipper.

Ahh, but the best thing about this bag is the aforementioned insulated cooler pouch. I could make this bag pay for itself simply in Coors Light savings at the golf course. (Remember -- never drink and drive your golf ball into the group in front of you!)

If you are fond of this bag and don't have a push cart yet, check out the Micro Cart. The bottom of this MCB Cart Bag was designed to fit perfectly in the Micro Cart.

Superlight Sun Mountain Stand Bag 3.5, New for 2010 | Drink Holder http://www.zipgolfer.com/superlight-sun-mountain-stand-bag-3-5-new-for-2010-drink-holder/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/superlight-sun-mountain-stand-bag-3-5-new-for-2010-drink-holder/#comments Mon, 15 Mar 2010 21:34:56 +0000 Robert http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=2133 Superlight Sun Mountain Stand Bag 3.5,I own this stand bag, only I paid fifty dollars more for it, and mine says Titleist on it. I'm going to let you in on a little secret, but please don't tell anybody!…. Come closer to the screen… Here it goes: Sun Mountain makes most of Titleist's stand bags! It's true.

Thus, if you don't care what name is on your bag, get this Sun Mountain Stand Bag and save some "moolah." The reason I bought the bag is because it is so light. You won't find a bag any lighter.

Another thing I like about the bag is the bag stand deploys very easily. I've had bags in the past that you had to play with it and push down in a certain spot to get the legs to deploy. I also like the position of the beer holder (uhh, I mean water bottle holder). It is very accessible while the bag is on your back.

The only thing I would caution you about this bag is to be careful when jamming clothes into the large side pocket. I've overfilled it a few times, then forced the zipper shut -- only to have the zipper split open while I was walking.

For a cool bag that will hold everything and includes an insulated cooler pouch, check out the Sun Mountain 2009 SCB Speed Cart Bag. Of course, you aren't going to want to carry this one -- it's to throw on a push cart or electric cart.

Golf Folding Push Cart by Sun Mountain, Speed V1 | Pneumatic Tires http://www.zipgolfer.com/golf-folding-push-cart-by-sun-mountain-speed-v1-pneumatic-tires/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/golf-folding-push-cart-by-sun-mountain-speed-v1-pneumatic-tires/#comments Sat, 13 Mar 2010 21:27:45 +0000 Robert http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=2131 Golf Folding Push Cart by Sun Mountain,About ten years ago when I "caved in" and decided I was going to buy one of these push carts (my back had had enough) I asked my good friend Nick what I should buy. Of course, I had been teasing Nick relentlessly since he started using a push cart, calling him "an old man." (He is ten years younger than me.)

Nick instructed, "Make sure you get one that folds up compact enough to fit in your trunk, and don't buy one with those cheap looking plastic wheels." This Sun Mountain Speed Cart meets both of these criteria.

This Speed Cart has shock-absorbing pneumatic tires. (Yes, I had to look up the word "pneumatic" in the dictionary. It means it has inflatable tires.) And it folds up very easily and is compact enough to fit in most trunks.

If you were to ask me what to look for in a push cart (not Nick), I'd just tell you to get one with a drink holder, maybe a couple of drink holders. This Sun Mountain only has one, but I can recommend a great golf bag to throw on this which has an insulated cooler pouch! Check out the Sun Mountain 2009 SCB Speed Cart Bag.

Finally, another push cart that l like the look of a little bit better is the Clicgear 2.0 Push Golf Cart. It's sportier-looking then this Sun Mountain, but it does have those "cheap looking" plastic wheels.

Sun Mountain Golf Travel Cover | ClubGlider Meridian Luggage Bag Wheels http://www.zipgolfer.com/sun-mountain-golf-travel-cover-clubglider-meridian-luggage-bag-wheels/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/sun-mountain-golf-travel-cover-clubglider-meridian-luggage-bag-wheels/#comments Thu, 03 Sep 2009 23:38:31 +0000 Robert http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=665 Sun Mountain Golf Travel Cover This is a cool product. Sun Mountain, the company that brings us all of our lightweight golf bags, has come up with an alternative to those clumsy, heavy travel cases. This is one of those products that when you look at it, you're going to ask "Why didn't they come up with this sooner?"

The ClubGlider Meridian Golf Travel Cover uses thick foam padding to protect your golf clubs as opposed to the typical hard plastic. The zippers are heavy duty and two-way for durability and convenience of packing. There are two large storage pockets.

Besides the lightweight design, there are two things I really like about this bag:

1) The extra care they put into the durable design. This bag is built to be with you for a long time, despite the abuse from those luggage handlers. All the straps are riveted to the bag with reinforced vinyl in the heavy wear areas.

2) The bag has pivoting caster wheels that fold out and roll, but what's more is they support the bag and keep it upright. This eliminates the constant bending over I do every time I put down and pick up my travel case. Once you get it to the sky cab, simply retract these legs into a molded tray, and it's ready to hit the airline conveyor belt.

Thanks to Sun Mountain for great design that is going to save our backs from much abuse. I just don't know why the heck I didn't think of this?

WSU Sun Mountain Golf Stand Bag | Washington State Cougars | 3.5 G010476 http://www.zipgolfer.com/wsu-sun-mountain-golf-stand-bag-washington-state-cougars-3-5-g010476/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/wsu-sun-mountain-golf-stand-bag-washington-state-cougars-3-5-g010476/#comments Tue, 01 Sep 2009 22:00:32 +0000 Robert http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=636 WSU Sun Mountain Golf Stand Bag Go Cougs! Okay, I have to admit I'm really more of a Washington Husky fan. I lived in Seattle for a few years and I was lucky to make it to quite a few games (both basketball and football.) I did make many friends that are Cougar fans. Plus I have to take my hat off to you WSU folks, as you've had our number the last few years.

One of my best friends is going to have to have this bag when he sees it. It's made by Sun Mountain. They pretty much make all the backpack carry golf bags that you will ever see. (Even if the bag says Titleist, like the one I currently have, it's still made by Sun Mountain.)

This bag is the super-light 3.5. That's about as light as they get. It has a 6-way top organizer to keep your clubs divided, and seven pockets for storing all of your stuff.

The only thing I don't like about this bag is: because of the lightweight design, you need to go easy on over-stuffing it. The zippers on the pockets will come apart if you jam your heavy jacket into it and then try to force the zipper closed.

However, what's not to like about the look? Right, Cougar fans? Alright, that's about all the Cougar kissing up I can do. My Huskies are going to get you this year.
