By one estimate, there are approximately 10 million golfers in the U.S. -- if each uses only TWO gloves per year, that's 20 million golf gloves. While many golfers use a single glove for years and years, others, like me, use 5-7 per year. Whatever method you use to figure it, it's a lot of gloves. One entry in this category is the Kasco Ever Soft golf glove. The Kasco Ever Soft glove has been treated to remain soft and supple for its entire lift span -- through the sweat, the rain, the dirt, and being stuffed in your bag in a crumpled-up wad at the end of your round.

In my experience, a golf glove is either a very personal item -- treated with reverence and respect -- or just another crutch golfers use when a shot goes awry. To get the most from your Kasco Ever Soft golf glove (or any golf glove for that matter), lay it out flat when done for the day and allow it to dry out naturally and slowly. Washing the glove is rarely a good idea as it can remove the treatment that will help to keep it soft. supple and usable, round after round.

The Kasco Ever Soft glove is available in the always popular white leather and includes a "button style" ball-marker typically found on golf gloves.

Men’s Callaway X Series White Leather Golf Gloves | Breathable & Flexible Mesh w/ Cabretta http://www.zipgolfer.com/mens-callaway-x-series-white-leather-golf-gloves-breathable-flexible-mesh-w-cabretta/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/mens-callaway-x-series-white-leather-golf-gloves-breathable-flexible-mesh-w-cabretta/#comments Thu, 19 Aug 2010 21:20:07 +0000 Robert http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=2910 Men's Callaway X Series White LeatherI like this glove for the money. The quality is really nice, and of course Callaway always makes a good product. Let's take a close look at this glove.

The first thing that jumps out at you is Callaway's familiar "X" logo printed on the backhand. This glove has what Callaway calls their X-Spann2 Technology. This technology is designed to give the glove a better fit with proper flex in the knuckles and fingers. In addition, the Birds Eye 42 is a mesh that lets the glove breath and gives the glove even more flexibility.

The coolest thing about the glove is the sweet Cabretta leather. There is something about the smell and feel of leather that is very pleasing and makes you feel like a professional golfer (at least until you slice your first drive into the lake).

I would recommend this glove because it isn't really expensive but has an expensive feel to it. If you have a big hand with shorter fingers, then check out the Callaway X-Series Cadet Glove. This glove was designed for you. And if you like a less flashy, plain-looking glove, try the FootJoy Mens StaSof glove.

Callaway White Leather Golf Gloves, X Cadet (Men’s) | Flex Fit for Large Palm, Small Finger http://www.zipgolfer.com/callaway-white-leather-golf-gloves-x-cadet-mens-flex-fit-for-large-palm-small-finger/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/callaway-white-leather-golf-gloves-x-cadet-mens-flex-fit-for-large-palm-small-finger/#comments Wed, 11 Aug 2010 22:16:29 +0000 Robert http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=2892 Callaway White Leather Golf Gloves, XHere's a glove designed for those of you with big hands and small fingers. This describes one of my best golf buddies. He is always complaining that he has to buy large gloves, but there is too much room in the fingers. Callaway addresses this problem in there Cadet fitting.

Another thing I like about the glove is all the cool graphics on the back of the glove. However, it makes me think more of a race car driver than a golfer. There is a large "X" printed on the backhand. This is Callaway's familiar "X" logo. The glove has what Callaway calls their X-Spann2 Technology. This technology is designed to give the glove a better fit with proper flex in the knuckles and fingers. In addition, the Birds Eye 42 is a mesh that lets the glove breath and gives the glove even more flexibility.

The best thing about the glove is the cool Cabretta leather. There is something about the smell and feel of leather. It reminds me of getting into a new car that has leather interior. On the first tee, when you put the glove on, it is very pleasing and makes you feel like a professional golfer (at least until you slice your first drive into the lake).

For this glove in the regular fit, check out the Callaway X-Series Glove. And for a more "Plain Jane" glove that is extremely soft, check out the FootJoy Mens StaSof Golf Glove.

Mens FootJoy StaSof Golf Gloves | Soft Leather White Cabretta by Pittards of England http://www.zipgolfer.com/mens-footjoy-stasof-golf-gloves-soft-leather-white-cabretta-by-pittards-of-england/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/mens-footjoy-stasof-golf-gloves-soft-leather-white-cabretta-by-pittards-of-england/#comments Tue, 22 Jun 2010 11:29:59 +0000 Robert http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=2895 Mens FootJoy StaSof Golf Gloves Well the name doesn't lie, this glove is very soft! When you put this glove on it's like putting on your favorite pair of driving gloves. (You have driving gloves, no? For driving your Rolls Royce?)

The glove is made of Taction Cabretta Leather by Pittards of England. (Well "La Di Dah!" ) The leather, besides being very soft and comfortable, has a strong grip and is very resistant to moisture.

My favorite thing about the glove is (as previously mentioned) it is extremely soft and stays soft. The downside of the glove is that the glove wears out pretty quickly. This is similar to FootJoy's shoes. FootJoy makes the most comfortable shoe in the game, but some of them tend to wear out quicker. I'd give it about six rounds before you will be buying another one of these gloves. This isn't a big deal as the glove is pretty reasonably priced.

If you want a more durable glove, check out the Callaway X-Series Men's Golf Glove. This is another very comfortable glove, only more durable. It also is a lot flashier-looking then the Plain Jane FootJoy Glove.

Bionic Silver Men’s Golf Glove | White Ergonomic Arthritis Support http://www.zipgolfer.com/bionic-silver-mens-golf-gloves-white-ergonomic-arthritis-support/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/bionic-silver-mens-golf-gloves-white-ergonomic-arthritis-support/#comments Thu, 29 Oct 2009 10:52:38 +0000 Jess http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=1791 Bionic Silver Men's Golf Gloves "Golf is a lifetime sport."

Sure is. You can spend your entire life looking for that same feeling that you experienced when you were 20 and hit a 178 yard tee shot within six inches of the hole.

One time. But that's all it takes, doesn't it folks?

Anyway, it is a game that transcends ages, genders, and cultures, and is universally enjoyed. The problem is, sometimes the body doesn't want to always function the same way it did at 20 years old. Sometimes backs hurt. Sometimes feet swell. Sometimes knees buckle. Sometimes -- and this one can be the most frustrating -- everything else works fine enough, but those hands are too stiff.

That's where Bionic helps. Just like the women's gloves reviewed here, the men's version boasts the same features. Specially designed for golfers with arthritis, these gloves have extra pads where you need them, and an excellent ergonomic design that has been scientifically proven to reduce pain during the round.

They have excellent materials, good joint flexibility, and a nice magnetic ball marker that is very easy to remove and replace.

If golf truly is a lifetime sport, we are glad that there are companies that want to see golfers enjoy it for all of their life -- even after those younger years when 18 holes didn't make it tough to get out of bed the next day...

Bionic Silver Women’s Golf Glove | Ergonomic Grip Comfort Magnetic http://www.zipgolfer.com/bionic-silver-womens-golf-gloves-ergonomic-grip-comfort-magnetic/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/bionic-silver-womens-golf-gloves-ergonomic-grip-comfort-magnetic/#comments Mon, 19 Oct 2009 22:49:52 +0000 Jess http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=1788 Bionic Silver Women's Golf Gloves Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the technology.

ChaChaChaChaChaCha.... Man I loved that show. This is why I was excited to see the Bionic Women's Silver Golf Gloves. So imagine my slight disappointment when no robot parts fit into the equation. No '70s music either. Oh well.

However, this glove really is a nice glove. The Bionic gloves are designed especially with ergonomics in mind and especially for golfers with arthritis or other joint problems. They offer enhanced grip and comfort from the backswing to the follow through. They even have an additional row of finger pads and a taller "Anatomical Pad System" for more grip and control.

The material is soft and form-fitting and really feels good. It comes with a large, easy-to-remove and replace magnetic ball marker, and is designed to not "ball up" like leather gloves can do when exposed to moisture. It even passed a major university's independent test to prove that this glove significantly reduces pain for golfers with arthritis, although I could not find the university...

Regardless, this glove is the best you can get without cybertronic hand implants and slow motion high jumps.

There is also a men's version here.

Men’s Pro Bionic Glove | Orthopedic Arthritis Leather Support GGPMRXL http://www.zipgolfer.com/mens-pro-bionic-glove-orthopedic-arthritis-leather-support-ggpmrxl/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/mens-pro-bionic-glove-orthopedic-arthritis-leather-support-ggpmrxl/#comments Tue, 15 Sep 2009 00:11:03 +0000 Robert http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=873 Men's Pro Bionic Glove "We can build him stronger!"  Do you remember this from the opening to that old TV show starring Lee Majors as The 50 Million Dollar Man? I think this show was on in the late '70s or early '80s. (I am really dating myself now.) They took this guy that had been in a plane crash and rebuilt him with spare parts from a used Oldsmobile (not really) and turned him into "The Bionic Man." (Just think of Robocop, but wearing bell bottom jeans.)

Now you too can possess superpowers with the Bionic Glove. These revolutionary gloves are designed by an orthopedic surgeon and are enhanced for people with arthritis or hand problems. They are made of special sheepskin leather that is washable. (Of course, nobody wants to deal with funky bionics.)

Usually this is the place where I would insert some extremely biting sarcastic remark alluding to how silly these Bionic Gloves are, but I feel like I've grown.

Instead, I will use this precious space for a golf tip: There's nothing wrong with wearing a glove, especially if you have hands that are prone to sweating. However, if you get blisters on your hands or suffer from cramping, then you are gripping the club too tightly. Just like Freddy Couples, I've never worn a golf glove, and I've never had a problem, with the exception of those long days on the range where I over-practiced.

If you want a quality golf glove, check out the TaylorMade Targa Tour Cabretta Leather Golf Glove.   It's a high quality, comfortable golf glove. As far as the bionics go, I suggest we leave that to The 50 Million Dollar Man. I bet that guy could hit the heck out of a golf ball.

Callaway Golf Glove Set | Tour Leather Cabretta Technical Performance http://www.zipgolfer.com/callaway-golf-glove-set-tour-leather-cabretta-technical-performance/ http://www.zipgolfer.com/callaway-golf-glove-set-tour-leather-cabretta-technical-performance/#comments Wed, 09 Sep 2009 20:22:58 +0000 Jess http://www.zipgolfer.com/?p=784 Callaway Golf Glove Set The debate rages: Glove, or No Glove?

Some think that a glove makes you look like an amateur (which is strange because so many tour players wear them). Some say that a glove gives you a more "accomplished" look -- you know, like you really know what you're doing (which is strange in that the guy is scratching his head with his gloved hand while looking for his ball).

I throw out all comments. I wear the glove. After a big game of... well ... a lot of swinging, I can feel where the grips chafe all the time. Plus, if you wear a wedding ring while you play, a glove helps that little discomfort tremendously.

Now this review is easy for me. I use these gloves. I bought this very 3 pack of Callaway Golf Gloves, although one of my Cabretta leather gloves was black. Very soft. Very comfortable. Very durable. They breathe well, and the mesh parts help keep it cool on hot days. I have only used my leather ones, and have not tried the third "Tour Technical Performance" glove yet, as I have been very satisfied with the feel of the leathers.

The velcro closure stays closed very well, even when taking it off for every putt. The price is right for these, as you would easily pay much more if you bought them separately.

Good buy. Good glove. Good Lord, where is my ball? (he said while scratching his head with a nicely gloved hand.)

Take the glove off, put the glove on. There sure is a lot of messing around in golf. Take out your green tool. Take out your ball mark. Put away your green tool. I think people who play golf just love fiddling about with little stuff.

The TaylorMade Targa Tour Golf Gloves are worth fiddling with. They are a beautiful AAA cabretta leather which is very comfortable. They have a patent pending on their micro-perforated leather construction, and the wrist bands wick away moisture.

The best thing about them is the antimicrobial performance fabric. This fabric fits like a… hmmm. I was going to say "fits like a glove." I guess this is redundant.

I like this glove. It supplies tremendous feel and doesn't really seem like you are wearing anything at all.

So go ahead and mess about. Take the glove off. Put the glove on.
