These shoes get their name from their ability to flip crazy "backside Ollies." Hold on, that's not right. This isn't "ZipSkateboarder.com."
All joking aside, the 360 stands for the 360wrap. This is Adidias' proprietary technology that surrounds your entire foot creating the most stability in a golf shoe.
This shoe is the closest thing you will come to dipping your feet in wet concrete and letting it dry. The 360 wrap is a complete and separate three-dimensional component that locks the instep with the outstep. If you turn the shoe upside down, you can see how the 360wrap goes all the way around in the middle of your foot. What's more is in the 3.0 model, they've added a locking heel piece. The heel piece was inspired by the sport of cycling where keeping your heel locked in place is essential to creating the most power and torque.
If you are looking for the utmost in performance from a golf shoe, this is my pick of the litter. In fact, women were wearing the men's model before Adidas came out with these shoes specifically designed for the ladies. I'm glad Adidas addressed this problem and you lady golfers are being heard.
