How about a little target practice in the back yard? No, put away your bow and arrow. Instead, grab your wedge and a few dozen range balls and let's go.
The SKLZ Fly Trap Chipping Net has five different targets for you to hone your accuracy and distance control. It is portable and folds up and down like an umbrella.
Although this looks cute to mess around with in the backyard or basement, I'm not sure I'd use it much (unless it was raining and I couldn't find my umbrella). When I practice my chipping, I need to see how the ball hits and rolls on an actual green. However, if you are struggling with making good contact on your chips, chipping balls into this net would certainly help you hone in your skills and practice making good contact consistently.
For practicing at home, I prefer a net I can make full swings into. Check out the Izzo Big Daddy Insta-Net. It sets up in seconds, and you can practice full shots and work on your tempo and swing plane.
I'm not much for the "cutesy" nets and playing target practice. I'd rather put time into something a little more practical like the full swing, or you could just shoot that bow and arrow after all.
