Here's a blade putter from Odyssey's Crimson Series. The Crimson Series is very easy to recognize with the red (or crimson) colored insert. The putter is a rounded heel-toe weighted blade with a "crank-neck" hosel and a full-shaft offset.
The insert in the Crimson Series Putters is very firm. It is called the "Crimson Stronomic." It is a co-molded ground polymer face. Odyssey makes the face flush by forming the insert directly in the face cavity and then grounding it.
The Crimson Series is the most inexpensive of the Odyssey putters. I certainly like blade putters, and this one will suffice, but I'm not fond of the look of the Crimson Series. The red insert is ugly and does not have a good feel. In addition, the stainless steel putter head is also nothing to write home about.
For a good blade putter that is in the same price range, check out the Odyssey White Hot XG #3 Putter. This is a better-looking putter, and the White Hot XG series insert is softer and provides a much better feel than the Crimson series.
