Odyssey Black i 7 Putter This putter looks like the fangs of a cobra. These Odyssey Black Series i putters are beautiful creations. They are designed for more advanced players.

Let's take a look at some of the technology: The first thing you will notice is the attractive nickel plated finish. It's pleasing to look at address. The putter is precision milled for desired weight and balance. The Tour insert is Odyssey's most responsive insert, constructed of an elastomer core and a striking surface infused with urethane. Finally, the Odyssey Black Series i #7 is constructed of multi materials with a 1025 carbon steel body and a weighted tungsten flange. This creates the putter's low, deep center of gravity and high MOI.

I really like the shape of this mallet. Most mallets have too many curves. When I'm trying to line up a putt square, I prefer to look down at straight lines, not curves. I also love the black line for alignment.

This is a player's putter and designed for the elite. Odyssey has gone to great lengths to give this putter an optimal weighting and balance. What's more is, the multi-layer Tour insert gives incredible feel and responsiveness that will be appreciated by the lower handicappers.

If you like the design but feel like this putter might be out of your league, take a look at the Odyssey White Hot XG #7. This is the same shaped putter, only more affordable and created for us average golfers.

Get one of these putters and use the fangs to take a bite of your score.
