Odyssey Black i 2 Ball Putter This putter is the ever popular 2-Ball putter, only Odyssey has sent the Black i to charm school. These Odyssey Black Series i putters are beautiful creations. These are designed for more advanced players.

Let's take a look at some of the technology: The first thing you will notice is the attractive nickel-plated finish. It's pleasing to look at address. The putter is precision milled for desired weight and balance. The Tour insert is Odyssey's most responsive insert, constructed of an elastomer core and a striking surface infused with urethane. Finally, Odyssey Black Series i 2-Ball Putter is constructed of multi materials with a 1025 carbon steel body with the weighted 2-Ball wing. This creates the putter's low, deep center of gravity and high MOI.

The 2-Ball putter is Odyssey's bestselling putter. The appeal of these putters is in the ease of aligning the putter using the 2-Ball alignment aid. I've never been a big fan of the 2-Ball alignment without any other aid. I prefer an additional line or dot for a more precise alignment. Odyssey doesn't make one of these in the Black i series, but does have a few available in the White Hot XG series. My favorite is the Odyssey White Hot XG 2-Ball SRT Lined Putter.

However, if you like the standard 2-Ball putters, you will love this one. This is a player's putter and designed for the elite. Odyssey has gone to great lengths to give this putter an optimal weighting and balance. What's more is, the multi-layer Tour insert gives incredible feel and responsiveness that will be appreciated by the lower handicappers.

What can I say? This is a very charming putter.
