This Tour Edge XCG-3 hybrid is similar to the XCG-3 driver and fairway wood. Its sole is comprised of a heavy tungsten, which provides the club with a tremendous low center of gravity. This promotes a high launch angle with low spin. This equates to a ball that goes high and long out of any lie.
The sole is then combined with a maraging-steel crown and face which is very strong, extremely hot, and extraordinarily forgiving.
In addition to all this technology, they've also added internal weight pads to give the hybrid an even higher MOI and more stability.
The exotics are a bit higher-priced than average, but I really like their technology and how far the ball flies off of the face.
