If there is a better-looking head on a three wood, I haven't seen it yet. This 909 Fairway wood is very pleasing to look down at address with its compact club head, sleek clean lines, and a simple alignment aid. Please keep in mind though, that this club is a players club for mid to low handicappers.
This F3 is different from the F2 in that it has a deeper face for a lower launch angle and less spin. Both have a factory-installed weight screw in the sole to lower the center of gravity.
This club is a useful tool off the turf, but I especially like it for teeing off on those tight par fours. Every player should have a club in his bag that he can confidently swing and know the ball is going down the center of the fairway. This F3 wood provides a low, controlled ball flight that will keep you in play and out of trouble.
I wouldn't recommend this club for a high handicapper. Instead, I would steer them towards the Nickent 4DX Fairway Wood or the Callaway X Fairway Tour 08 Fairway Wood. Both are a little more forgiving and very easy to swing.
