This at first looks like a very cool idea for a product. A quick way to carry balls to a range or a field for a little practice -- and then, when you're ready to hit, simply lower the ramp. And out pops a ball.
It's called the "Tee-It-Up" Golf ball dispenser, and it's really a very simple idea: a plastic molded basket that holds up to 32 golf balls and a little plastic ramp that dispenses the ball when the golfer is ready.
But therein lies the problem too. It's all plastic. To me, this just seems cheap. I don't think I would have much confidence in this basket standing up when I pull down the ramp for the shot. It honestly looks like you will spend more time righting your dispenser than using it. Not to mention that the price is pretty steep for a plastic basket with a ramp.
I would bet that this would be a much better product if there were some metal in its construction. Plus, let's face it: Are we really getting too lazy to use our club to pull the next ball toward us from the pile? Or -- dare I say it -- bend over and pick one up?
Sorry, Tee-It-Up. Not for me.
