Solus Wedge Club With all the technology being focused towards our drivers, and our hybrids, and even our putters, we hardly hear much about the wedges. Solus is taking the lead on this.

The Solus RD 4.1 Wedge is cutting-edge new design featuring "The Crescent Cut Sole Contour." Basically, they've shaved down the leading edge of the wedge providing a club that will clip those thin shots. What's more is, the face isn't a blade style, but rather the cavity back. Most of you know that the cavity back is more forgiving then a blade giving us a bigger sweet spot for those mishits.

What I like best about this club is the milled face. This gives tremendous sharpness to the face, and you will find it very easy to spin the golf ball.

Unfortunately, that's about all I like about this club. The Solus medallion emblem on the clubhead is ugly, and the grip is mushy. If you want to check out a beautiful milled wedge, feast your eyes on the Titleist Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can Wedge. This is a player's wedge that has no rival.

That being said, if you are looking for a forgiving, relatively inexpensive wedge and you can get over the ugly appearance, I think this Solus Wedge will be an asset to your game.

The technology of today has advanced our great game tremendously. Use it to progress your golf game.
