I really haven't seen Slazenger balls around that much anymore. It would appear this brand has lost some steam. "Mix" deals come with a mix of Slazenger balls, some of which are "discontinued but well sought after." Excuse me? Isn't that a contradiction in terms? I would understand if we are talking about an impressionist painting, or a vintage wine, but these are golf balls for goodness' sake.
Most Slazenger balls you will receive in a deal online are all distance balls. I'm guessing that they are some variety of the Slazenger Raw Distance ball. These golf balls are fine if you are looking for an inexpensive distance ball. This ball will go far and hit the ground running. Plus, you can get these golf balls for less than a dollar a ball, and Knetgolf has a 100% money back satisfaction guarantee.
However, Slazenger balls are very hard. None of these balls will have a very good feel when hit with an iron or played around the green. In fact, if this ball were any harder, they would mine them and mount them on engagement rings. "Heeeeyoooooo!"
If you are looking for a discount golf ball with good distance, I would recommend Titleist NXT golf balls. These balls go far but have a better feel than any Slazenger ball. Of course, they are not collector's items yet.
