I'm usually an Odyssey putter guy, but Rife makes a darn good putter. PGA Tour pro Justin Rose won the 2006 Australian Masters putting with a Rife putter.
Let's take a look at this Barbados Heel Shafted Putter. The shaft length comes in either 33 inches or 35 inches. This is a heel shafted oversized mallet style putter. The putter's face is "RollGroove Technology" which is designed to utilize less loft because of the gripping of the grooves on the face. The gripping of the putter head at impact helps the ball roll smoother and truer.
This putter has a great feel and swings itself. The mass has been moved to the outer edges of the mallet, making it very stable. The thing I like best about the putter is the three-line alignment aid. I rarely see any lines on mallet putters, and this is essential when lining up your putter and stroking it through square to the target.
If you like this putter, I would also recommend taking a look at the Rife Island Series Barbados Belly Putter. It's the same putter, but in the belly style design.
Whichever one you buy, you're going to like these Rife putters just as much as Justin Rose.
