You are looking at Ping's premier driver. The Ping i15 is a treat to swing if you like to play different shots off the tee with your driver. Wait, who does that? (I mean besides Tiger.) Most of us are just trying to keep it in the short grass.
This head is a whopping 460cc, but Ping has done a good job of keeping the traditional pear-shaped look that appeals to the low handicappers. Internal weights are placed away from the face to increase the MOI and reduce driver spin. Thus, the ball flight produced is low, easy to control, and penetrating.
I would recommend this driver to the low handicappers who are looking for a beautiful driver that they can play a variety of different shots off the tee. Golfers beware, the club is designed with a fade bias, so advanced players have confidence to swing away without worrying about a hook. If you are a slicer -- stay away.
For mid to high handicappers that are looking for a more forgiving driver, take a look at the Ping G15. This is a beautiful game-improving driver. It's very light with a large, forgiving, super-hot face.
