I enjoy reviewing these White Hot Tour putters from Odyssey. The bronze color is easy on the eyes. Actually, that's the reason Odyssey made it this darker color -- to eliminate glare.
I really like this Rossie Putter because the small mallet design gives me better feel than the larger mallets. What's more is, this Tour Rossie is even more responsive because Odyssey has made the multilayered insert a bit firmer than in the White Hot XG series putters.
The other big difference from the White Hot XG is in the weighting. The Tour Series uses weights in the sole to customize the length of the shaft with the weight of the putter. In other words, as the shaft gets longer, Odyssey reduces the weight in the sole, thus giving each putter its own specialized balance.
This is a putter designed for the advanced golfer. I would recommend this putter for a low handicapper that can appreciate an extremely responsive and balanced putter.
Otherwise, if you like the looks of this putter but you aren't ready to shell out for the "premium petro," take a look at the Odyssey White Hot XG Rossie Putter. It's a great putter. It just hasn't been tweaked for the scratch player.
