If you haven't gotten on the "Hybrid Bandwagon" yet, it's time to jump on. Grab your 2 and 3 irons and throw them in the lake. When I pulled my 3 iron out of the bag, it was so clean and shiny I could have eaten off of it. I never swung it.
Here's a very economical hybrid by MacGregor. This club is durable stainless steel with a pear-shaped clubface. It has two rails on the sole to help you hit out of any lie.
The best thing about this club is the huge sweet spot. It has "360 club face technology" which means there are no inserts or face welds, thus the entire face is the sweet spot. All I can say is "sweeeet!"
I recommend this club for those high handicappers that are looking for an inexpensive hybrid.
If you are looking for a something a little more high end and want to spend a little more money, check out the Nickent Golf 3DX RC Hybrid. This club is very easy to swing and launches the ball high and long out of any lie. It has tungsten inserts located on the heel and toe which makes the club extremely steady.
Whichever one you go with, I want to welcome you to the "Hybrid Bandwagon." You are going to like this ride.
