Here's a big ‘ol grip for some big ol' hands. These Lamkin Crossline Grips are jumbo grips. They are +1/8 inch.
I bought a set of used Titleist irons a few years ago that had been re-gripped with Lamkin Crossline grips. Before then, I was partial to the full chord grips that typically come on Titleist clubs. However, when I swung these, I was pleasantly surprised.
These grips are much softer than the full chord, but they are plenty tacky enough to hang onto in the rain or with sweaty hands. In addition, I could feel the clubhead much better with the Lamkin grips. The pattern on the grip moves to the right, designed to stabilize the hands at impact and reduce torque.
I would recommend these grips for feel players who grip the club lightly and can appreciate a responsiveness and feel.
Also, I always like to tell people: if they are gripping their own clubs for the first time, it can be a little tricky. Remember to get some extra grip tape and some mineral water, as this set of grips does not come with any grip solvent.
Finally, if you have big ol' hands like I do, I think you'll love these big ol' grips.
