This HiPPO HWT Wedge is not a bad-looking forged golf club. The gunmetal finish is very sharp looking, and the forged blade looks to be very responsive. The club face has V grooves and is sand blasted, thus the club will impart a lot of spin on those shots around the green. It has a bit of peripheral weighting to give it some forgiveness, and the shaft is a True-temper dynamic gold.
I would recommend this club to the mid to high handicapper that is ready to make the transition from a forgiving cavity back wedge to a more responsive forged club.
Otherwise, if you are looking for a high quality wedge that looks just like this one, check out the Cleveland 900 Form Forged Gunmetal Wedge. You will need to shell out some more dinero for this premium performance wedge, but it will be worth it. The club has a distinctive balance and true feel.
It is simply a matter of your skill level. You need to choose the wedge that fits your ability. Get the HiPPO if you shoot in the 90s and 100s, and get the Cleveland if you can break 90 consistently.

[...] What I like best about this club is the way it looks at address. The setup is just gorgeous. Of course, it's a players' club, so a higher handicapper should probably stay away from this tour club profile and look for something bigger with a cavity back. (Perhaps the HiPPO HWT Wedge.) [...]
