Golf apparel sure is a huge market these days. It seems every pro golfer has a line of clothes, and Greg Norman is one of the market leaders. This guy is a real entrepreneur who sells everything golf related, and some things not. He even has a line of wine.
I generally like Norman's stuff, but this shirt, The Greg Norman Play Dry Pique Pro Golf Polo Shirt, is not one of my favorites. I don't like the Play Dry Pique line. Don't get me wrong; it does keep you dry and is wrinkle resistant, but the material is stiff and doesn't move with you like the Nike Dry Fits (that I'm partial to). It's distinctly different to the touch then the Nike Dry Fit that it almost feels inferior in quality.
On the positive, you'll never have to iron this shirt; you can pull it out of the dryer and head straight to the first tee. In addition, it won't fade and has an anti-curl collar.
Every line of golf apparel has their own spin on Nike's Dry Fit technology, but I haven't found anything better yet. Thus, I'm going to stick with Nike, but I do like The Shark's wine. Cheers, everybody!
