I enjoyed playing this golf course located almost a stone's throw from the Denver International Airport, but it is the practice facility and the Par 3 course that keep me coming back.
The first thing you will notice when you drive up is the beautiful clubhouse. After I saw it, I had to double-check to make sure this was a public course and not a country club. The main course is very scenic, built on prairie land that is a combination of huge cottonwood trees amongst natural wetlands. The course has won awards for being family-friendly and the cool risk reward 18th hole.
For just playing a round of golf, I usually choose the Buffalo Run Golf Course that is just down the road, because the links-style course is more unique and is extremely challenging.
However, the practice facility here is like no other. There is a Par 3 course that you can play as many times as you want for ten dollars. And for another fifteen bucks, you can hit unlimited range balls until your fingers bleed. In addition, if you want to get really committed, there is a McGetrick Golf Academy there.
