Golf Pride Men's Grip Kit So you want to re-grip your clubs yourself, huh? Okay, okay, I'm not going to act like your wife and give you that look she always gives you when you are starting a new project. You know the one… "Hey buddy, you can't even figure out how to put a new roll of toilet paper on the rack. How the heck are you going to re-grip a set of golf clubs?!" (I'd never do that to you.)

However, take it from a guy whose done it before -- it's a little tricky. It will take a little practice. Let's start with looking at these golf Pride grips, and then read further down for some helpful tips.

Golf Pride grips are one of the most popular grips out there. I've played with them for years. The only grip I like better is the full chord grips that come on Titleist clubs. Although, these Golf Pride grips are much softer and won't tear up your hands like the full chord might. Don't worry; the Golf Pride grips have a non-slip surface, thus they are still tacky enough to keep from slipping out of your hands.

This set comes with 13 grips, double-sided grip tape strips, and a rubber vise clamp.

This set does not come with any grip solvent for slipping the grips over the sticky tape. You are going to need to get that from your hardware store. They tell you to use mineral spirit, but I prefer lighter fluid. Of course nobody who is selling you a product is going to recommend you use lighter fluid because somebody is going to blow themselves up and then sue the company. Thus, I'm not recommending you use lighter fluid (especially if you smoke, or you are especially dim witted).

Don't worry; the grips come with detailed instructions, and I'm sure you will be a pro in no time. Plus, when you're finished, don't forget to brag to your wife.
