I've been reading this magazine for the last twenty years. (I'm a slow reader.) Golf Digest is the quintessential golf magazine. There are others, but this is the best one.
One reason that makes them the best is they get all the top tour pros and teachers to write articles. It's a variable gold mine of golf instruction. Plus, they do a great job of covering all bases with material that would help anybody from a player who just started playing yesterday to a scratch golfer trying to break par.
Each issue also includes interviews and equipment reviews. Naturally, though, their equipment reviews pale in comparison with what you'll find here on Zipgolfer.com, but nobody's perfect.
Another cool feature is: in each issue, they take all the tips and consolidate them in a "Pocket Tips" pull-out which is small and fits in your slacks or golf bag.
With this deal, you get a year's subscription for twelve bucks. That's pretty good, considering I often pay five dollars in the grocery store for one magazine when I make it an impulse buy. There's an even better deal if you buy a two-year subscription: you pay only $20.
