I'm sure the neighbors already know that you are an avid golfer. If the golf bag mail box didn't tip them off or they didn't notice the putting green in the back yard, they should catch on when they see the "I Golf, Therefore I Am Not Here" Doormat.
"I Golf, Therefore I Am Not Here." I couldn't have put it better myself. I think this may be a play on some famous saying by a philosopher or something. Although, I can't really respect anybody who philosophized before they experienced the game of golf. Golf is the ultimate sport and will make a philosopher out of everybody. Especially when they have one of those famous days on the links when they forget how to play the game, and the ball starts flying sideways.
Here's a few I've come up with:
"When asked ‘why did you pay $300 to play that course?' I answered, ‘Because it is there.'"
"With practice and work, one can learn to hit a green, but even the most accomplished golfers of our time cannot hit two trees, a cart path, and a passing pedestrian in one shot."
"If a ball falls in the hazard, and no one is around to see it, does it cost a penalty stroke?"
I'm sure you have a few of your own, and your neighbors will be sure to ask you all about them the next time you are fishing golf balls out of their swimming pool. This mat is made of indoor-outdoor carpet with stitched edges and can easily be washed with an outdoor hose.
