There are those of us that *ahem* "choose" not to walk the course. It is, of course, to our own wallet's detriment because we rent carts. For a lot. Every time. There are others who are also choosing to ride in style, but they are a unique group who have reached a certain level in their lives where they actually own their own carts.
Punks.
For those of you who own your own cart (or perhaps you are a course owner looking for something to give your carts a little "extra"), the Fairway Golf Car Club Canopy is a very cool little attachment. Made by Classic Accessories, this nice little item is made of a rugged, weather protected fabric that is supposed to be both shrink and stretch resistant. It is very accessible by just pulling down, and it retracts back quickly when not in use. Unlike others that I have seen, this one is very unobtrusive when retracted, and it has a very nice-sized back window when extended.
It's always nice to have your clubs (and perhaps your container of grass seed) covered if it happens to rain during the round. It appears that the company has made sure that these really fit almost any two-person cart with a roof, and it seems like a good little purchase for the value.
Who am I kidding? You have your own cart! You may be looking into a fully-enclosed all-weather cart with spinner wheels and flames on the side...
I'm going to go wallow in self pity while thinking about how I can save money for the next time I rent a cart...
