The same question has been asked throughout the ages: Is there a completely waterproof golf shoe that is also comfortable? Okay, maybe just asked throughout a few ages.
I believe Ecco has achieved this. These Ecco Men's Classic Saddle GTX are made with gore tex and completely waterproof and come with a 3-year waterproof guarantee. What's more, these shoes come with all kinds of performance enhancing qualities.
The heel has an anatomical heel counter to keep it in place. The insole is removable and has a shock-absorbing foam that provides arch support and absorbs moisture from your foot. The outsole was designed for the golf swing, giving additional traction and grip throughout your backswing and follow-through.
This is a top-of-the-line shoe and they've really covered everything. Even the laces are waxed so they don't come untied. The cleats are Eclipse made by Trisport. They have the Fast Twist systems which are quickly removed and replaced.
The biggest drawback I can find is in the price. These shoes are certainly worth it, but they come with a hefty price tag. For a sportier looking, less expensive waterproof golf shoe, check out the ECCO Men's Casual Cool Ribbon Golf Shoe or the Footjoy Golf- DryJoys Golf Shoes.
