Those of you golf-a-holics looking to save some cash on green fees should check out the GolfCard. It's a membership card that gives you discounted rates at about 3000 courses across the U.S. and Canada. It costs $48 dollars a year for a single membership or $84 for two people. This pays for itself if you play the courses that are included that give you discounted green fees.
In addition to discounted greens fees, you also get good deals at resorts that offer "Stay and Play" packages. If you are traveler and enjoy taking golf vacations, you will certainly want to look into this GolfCard.
The one thing I didn't like about the GolfCard is I didn't see my tried and true courses that I play regularly here in Oregon. However, I did see one of my favorites in Florida, The Majors GC at Bayside Lakes in Palm Bay, FL. I would recommend you check the Course Directory before you take the plunge. Also make sure to call the golf course you are interested in and confirm the discounted fee and when it is available.
This is a great deal for the adventurous golfer that is looking forward to traveling and discovering new golf courses. The cost of the card will easily cancel out when you play inexpensive golf as you encounter beautiful new tracks.
