Cleveland Wedge Club Black Pearl, You found it. This is one of my favorite wedges out there. Actually, I'm not that original; this is one of the most popular wedges on the market. Let me tell you why.

First, the CG15 is just pleasing to look at. I like the Black Pearl version of this. I like the darker colors in my wedges -- not just because it looks cool, but it also dampens the glare of the sun. I really like that Cleveland has kept the classic look, even though they've added some cutting-edge technology.

The laser-milled face is the cutting edge technology I'm referring to. (Pardon the pun.) The CG15 features a "revolutionary surface roughness technology". The laser-milled technology ensures that each face has a perfectly consistent surface texture. You have a choice of aggressive or non-aggressive grooves.

What I like best about it, beside the classic look, is the variable sole width. The S sole is wider on the heel and narrower on the toe. This is going to help you get the ball out of the sand without sacrificing your ability to open or close the face.
