Here's a simple "no bells or whistles" blade putter. How can you not love this? Cleveland brings us this simpleton putter. And after looking at all the crazy mallet designs that are out on the market, you can almost hear the putter saying "stop whining and just make a good stroke."
And don't think because this is a simple blade that it doesn't have some modern technology in the design. The putter has a heel top weighting which increases the MOI and thus adds forgiveness to the off-center hits. In addition, the blade features a hand polished satin finish which reduces glare when playing out in that bright sunshine. Finally, the face is milled giving you a soft yet solid feel.
I like the feedback in this putter the best. A solid putt makes a soft click, and you can definitely feel it in your hands. Even better, you can really feel the missed putts. This is something lost with those gargantuan mallet putters that I believe is a huge disadvantage to those who don't understand why they are three putting.
The one thing I don't like about the putter is it seems a little light. I like a bit of a heavier feel in my blade. But other than that, I really like the putter, especially for the price.
